Who is eligible?

• The candidate must be a female student.
• Maximum of two girl children per family are eligible.
• The applicant must be admitted to the First year of a Degree/Diploma course OR the Second year of a Degree/Diploma course via lateral entry in an AICTE-approved institution.
• Family income from all sources should not exceed ₹8 lakh per annum during the current financial year.
• Candidates must be pursuing education in a recognized AICTE-approved technical institution.

How much money?

A total of ₹50,000 is awarded per annum for every year of study as a lump sum amount towards payment of college fees, purchase of books, equipment, soft wares, laptop, etc. No other additional grants will be payable.

Documents needed

1. Mark sheet of Class 10th and 12th (for Degree) or Class 10th (for Diploma).
2. Current year admission letter issued by the Directorate of Technical Education / Centralized Admission Authority.
3. Annual Family Income Certificate for the preceding financial year in the prescribed format issued by a Tehsildar or above rank officer.
4. Tuition fee receipt.
5. Aadhar-linked Bank Account Passbook showing Name, Account number, IFSC code, and Photograph.
6. Caste Certificate (if applying under SC/ST/OBC category).
7. Aadhar Card.
8. A properly signed self-declaration stating the family particulars are true.

1. Visit the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) or the official AICTE portal as per the latest guidelines.
2. Register as a new user by providing basic details such as name, mobile number, and email ID.
3. Login using the generated credentials and select the AICTE Pragati Scholarship scheme from the list.
4. Fill in the application form with personal, academic, and bank account details.
5. Upload scanned copies of all required documents in the specified format.
6. Submit the application and take a printout for future reference.
7. The application will undergo verification by the Institute (L1) and the State Department/AICTE (L2).
