Who is eligible?

• The candidate must be a student with a disability (not less than 40%).

• The family income from all sources should not exceed INR 8 lakh per annum during the current financial year.
• Candidates should not be receiving any other scholarship from Central/State Government schemes.
• The student must have been admitted through a centralized counseling process.

How much money?

A total of INR 50,000 is provided per annum for every year of study. This amount is disbursed as a lump sum toward payment of college fees, purchase of computers, stationery, books, equipment, hardware, and software. No separate maintenance allowance is paid.

1. Mark sheet of Class 10 and Class 12 (or equivalent).
2. Income Certificate issued by a competent authority (Tehsildar or above).
3. Disability Certificate issued by the competent Medical Board.
4. Admission letter issued by the Centralized Admission Authority.

6. Bank account details (linked with Aadhaar).
7. Caste Certificate (if applicable).

1. Visit the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) official website.
2. Click on 'New Registration' and read the guidelines carefully.
3. Fill in the required student details and register to get an Application ID.
4. Log in using the Application ID and Password (sent to registered mobile number).
5. Select 'AICTE Saksham Scholarship' under the 'Scholarships' tab.
6. Fill out the application form with personal, academic, and bank details.
7. Upload scanned copies of all required documents.
8. Review the application and click on 'Final Submit'.
