Who is eligible?
- Students must be above the 80th percentile of successful candidates in the relevant stream from the respective Board of Examination in Class 12.
- The applicant must be pursuing a regular course (not correspondence or distance mode) in a college/institution recognized by AICTE, NCTE, or Medical Council of India.
- The total family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 4.5 Lakh per annum.
- The student must not be receiving any other scholarship or financial assistance from any other source.
- Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwD) receive internal reservations as per Central Government norms.
How much money?
The scholarship amount is INR 12,000 per annum at Graduation level for the first three years and INR 20,000 per annum at Post-Graduation level. For 10-semester integrated courses, INR 20,000 is provided during the 4th and 5th years.
