What is this scheme?

It provides them with a Phased Credit Support of up to ₹3,00,000 at a concessional interest rate, Basic and Advanced skill training with a daily stipend, and a Toolkit Incentive. The scheme covers 18 traditional trades including carpenters, blacksmiths, potters, masons, and tailors.

Who is eligible?

• The applicant must be an artisan or craftsperson working with hands and tools in one of the 18 identified trades.
• Minimum age of the applicant should be 18 years on the date of registration.
• The applicant should not have availed loans under similar credit-based schemes (e.g., PMEGP, PM SVANidhi, Mudra) in the last 5 years.
• Registration and benefits are restricted to one member per family.
• A person in government service and their family members are not eligible.

How much money?

Total loan support of ₹3 Lakh (₹1 Lakh in the first tranche and ₹2 Lakh in the second tranche) at a 5% interest rate. Additionally, a ₹15,000 toolkit e-voucher and a ₹500 per day stipend during training.

4. Once verified by the Gram Panchayat or Urban Local Body, download the PM Vishwakarma Digital Card and Certificate.
5. Apply for the Toolkit incentive and the first tranche of the collateral-free loan through the portal.
