Who is eligible?

• An artisan or craftsperson working in one of the 18 specified traditional trades (e.g., Carpenter, Blacksmith, Potter, Tailor).
• The minimum age of the applicant should be 18 years on the date of registration.
• Only one member of a family is eligible to apply for benefits under the scheme.
• The applicant should not have availed loans under similar credit-based schemes (e.g., PMEGP, PM SVANidhi, Mudra) in the past 5 years.
• Government employees and their family members are not eligible.

How much money?

The scheme provides a toolkit voucher of ₹15,000 and a total loan amount of ₹3,00,000. This is delivered in two tranches: ₹1,00,000 (First Tranche) and ₹2,00,000 (Second Tranche) at an effective interest rate of 5%.

4. If approved, download the PM Vishwakarma Digital ID and Certificate.
5. Attend the Basic Skill Training (5-7 days) to become eligible for the toolkit incentive.
6. Apply for the credit support (loan) through the portal after successful training completion.
