Learn about the SAMRIDH Scheme by MeitY. Discover eligibility, funding support of up to ₹40 Lakhs, and how software product start-ups can scale through accelera
The Startup Accelerator of MeitY for Product Innovation, Development, and Growth (SAMRIDH) is a flagship initiative by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). Launched to bridge the gap between early-stage product development and market readiness, SAMRIDH focuses on scaling Indian software product start-ups by providing them with mentorship, funding, and international market access.
What is this scheme?
The SAMRIDH scheme is designed to support 300 start-ups by providing a conducive environment for growth through existing and new accelerators. Unlike traditional grants, SAMRIDH works on a 'matching fund' model where the government matches the investment provided by accelerators. It aims to enhance the software product ecosystem in India, moving from 'service-based' to 'product-based' excellence.

- The start-up must be a software product-based entity.
- Must have a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and some initial customer traction.

- Accelerators applying to host the scheme must have a proven track record of at least 3 years in incubation/acceleration.
