Uttar Pradesh Startup Policy - Marketing and Rental Assistance

Under the Uttar Pradesh Startup Policy 2020 (Amended 2022), the state government provides financial incentives to startups to mitigate operational costs and promote brand building. The scheme offers a Marketing Assistance grant to support the launch of minimum viable products (MVPs) and early-stage market entry. Additionally, startups operating from recognized incubators or leased premises can avail a monthly rental subsidy to reduce overhead expenses. Managed by IT and Electronics Department through the StartInUP portal, these measures aim to foster a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem, particularly encouraging women-led startups and those in emerging technology sectors. The policy focuses on scaling local innovations to national and international levels by providing a soft landing through sustained financial support during the critical early growth phase.
